Life: Cafe Bastille in Taipei

Yesterday my dog and I went to Cafe Bastille, a Belgian style cafe as far as I know.  I forgot to take pictures of the ambience, but it's really all about the outfits, isn't it?  Here I am wearing the Gucci top that I purchased in February.  As much as I absolutely love the eye shadows I just purchased, I decided to go with a black smoky eye and it turned out great!  I felt very cheerful there because no one there knew what I was going through so it was like an escape, and I could tell from people's faces that they didn't think poorly of me.  See you next time, Germain xxx

Valentino + Tom Ford Perfumes + GWP from Nordstrom

My mum is coming here a lot sooner than expected due to what's happened to me lately. I wore Tom Ford Black Orchid and Valentino Valentina Assoluto before some troubling legal issues began, so hopefully buying these perfumes will remind me of a more carefree time, even though for me the Black Orchid packaging leaves a lot to be desired.  Also the perfumes come with an amazing gift with purchase from the recent Nordstrom beauty/fragrance event.  Lately I've been wearing a lot of perfume as I go to a lot of places like the police station and the Mormon church.

I also asked my dad to pick up the fluidline in blacktrack, and Mac 210 precise eyeliner brush from Mac.  My father is a great and noble man.  We had wanted to buy the fluidline eye pencil in black brilliance but apparently it's a new launch and will be available later this week!

Ring from Oscar de la Renta

As you girls know, lately I have been quite taken with gold jewelry.  I was browsing the Oscar de la Renta website when all of a sudden I noticed this "carved rose cocktail ring" from the Fall Winter 2014 collection.  "Holy shit," I said to myself, "That thing is feminine and beautiful.  I have got to jump on it."  I ordered it from the Oscar de la Renta store in New York City.  They always send things out on second day shipping but I was forced to pay $35 for it.  Daylight robbery!!!!  With that said, who would have imagined it would come in such beautiful packaging?  I did suspect the box would be white and blue (got that idea from the perfume "Something Blue").  Classy dark blue, white, and pink.
