Fragrance samples from Saks

Mmmmm, I love perfumes!  Saks spoiled me and sent me samples of these perfumes with my D&G order:

Dolce and Gabbana Blouse from Saks

I have to admit that the first time I laid my eyes on this crepe de chine blouse on the Dolce and Gabbana website, I was more impressed by two other blouses.  But quickly I started daydreaming about this one and found it to be my top choice.  My first visualisation of it involved the blouse matched with a cream maxi skirt and brown Grecian sandals.  This would be a very fitting outfit to wear while relaxing at sea, whether on a cruise seeing and being seen, or at festivities on a yacht.  Sophistication meets the sea.

As I continued to have this blouse in my head, I realised that it would also look fantastic with a pair of white jeans, or better yet, capris.  You could also easily wear it with a white mid-length skirt and cream-coloured lace espadrilles.  Or gray jeans, a black skirt, the possibilities are endless.  Or what about red jeans?  That would be mad cool.

It took some detective work to get my hands on this blouse.  I found out from the Dolce and Gabbana boutique on Rodeo Drive that this was not available in stores in the U.S.  Then I phoned the corporate office in New York and discovered that several Saks stores had ordered this top.  It turned out that the Saks in Chicago had it in size 38, so I ordered it on the phone.
