Joined Bay Club Gym:)

I joined a beautiful gym today called Bay Club in Cupertino.  It's beautiful and comes with lounges and meeting rooms as well as the ordinary gym stuff.  Feast your eyes (I didn't take these pictures myself):

Love Story by Chloe eau de parfum

A scentless woman is like a wilted flower.  You cannot attract people no matter how well you are dressed, unless you have a particular fragrance.  Something has to let people remember you and that is your perfume.  Love Story is a fresh, feminine scent that makes you feel like you are an angel: clean, innocent, without vulgarity, beautiful, complex.  It lasts pretty long, and every second is worth it.  If you blind buy, you won't be disappointed.  I got an ugly purple clutch from Nordstrom as a gift with purchase as well.

The Local Union, Palo Alto

I went to a very beautiful restaurant named The Local Union with Staci today so here are some pictures.  All the boutiques and restaurants in downtown Palo Alto are very thin but very long inside.

Mac

Beauty marked, Trax, and 266 Brush.  Trax is fairly similar to a colour in Chanel vanites, but I felt like buying something and my dad was in a hurry.  Apparently the fall winter collections of clothes only come out in stores in September which really upsets me, I want to buy stuff in person this time in San Francisco.  I don't know how I will survive until then.

Palacio in Los Gatos

I went to a restaurant for Happy Hour named Palacio in Los Gatos, housed in an old Victorian mansion.  I had some vegetarian quesadillas and a glass of water;)  Here are some of the people there:

Versace skirt

Today I ordered a skirt from the 5th Avenue Versace store.  I like it because it has a ship on it so it's an "ocean" theme.  This will go with a lot of my tops.

Thornton State Beach

I went to Thornton State Beach and Fort Funston today.  Sadly I barely got any pictures but I'll try to take more next time I go somewhere.

Mac Bronzer

Last night I realized that I had left the bronzer I usually use in Taiwan, so I went to Mac at Valley Fair to purchase a new one.  It was a horror; there were so many people in there and it was impossible to get any assistance.  I stood there like a jerkoff for a while until I realized that I should try on the colours that I could find by myself.  I ended up getting the Matte bronze colour.  It's darker than it looks in this photo which I found on the internet;)

New Blouse from Dolce&Gabbana

I noticed a beautiful shirt from Dolce and Gabbana on their website.  It is very elegant and from the main SS2015 collection this year.  You could wear it to a wine tasting or while dining out with a friend.  I ordered it from Rodeo Drive.  Jose, the sales associate, told me that this season they ordered most of the available stock, which explains why this season it is easier to get what I want that I saw on the website.

Shirt from Dolce and Gabbana

Today I ordered this gorgeous, elegant shirt from the Dolce and Gabbana on Rodeo Drive.  It is from the Spring Summer 2015 collection.  I can see myself wearing it with jeans and boots, walking down the street.  What would YOU wear it with? :)

Life: Pumpkin House in Taichung

My dog and I went to the Pumpkin House restaurant next to Museum Art Parkway in Taichung.  We met a lot of people, had a lot of conversations, and took some photos.  I wore the dark brown colour from the YSL Saharienne couture palette and sprayed my Dolce perfume.  Imagine it and enjoy xx

Dolce Fragrance from Saks

Since my former boss asked me to bring her from the US a big bottle of Tom Ford's Black Orchid after smelling it on me, I was inspired to get a perfume myself.  I had the chance to smell Dolce and Gabbana's new scent, Dolce, a few months ago, and it was absolutely divine!  I decided to purchase the holiday set which includes a body lotion and shower gel.  I ordered from Saks in Boston and they are including a mystery makeup bag as well, so that'll be my 8th makeup bag!!

Sweater from Versace

I've been feeling quite overwhelmed with the legal case so I decided I needed an extra boost.  Such as this black wool sweater from the Versace Fall Winter 2014 collection.  I ordered it from the Versace boutique in Bal Harbour.  It would look great as part of an all black outfit with a pop of colour accessory-wise - perhaps a McQueen skull scarf or a colourful Hermes bracelet!

MORE YSL Couture Palettes + GWP from Saks

After buying 2 couture palettes from YSL, curiosity got the better of me and I checked out the others.  #5 Surrealiste has that colour like Mac Parfait Amour, only Parfait Amour's swatches look too bold and Surrealiste's swatches seem closer to what I really want.  #7 Parisienne has a colour similar to Mac's Star Violet, which was also on my list of eye shadows that I was interested in, and I believe the palette has an interesting pink, though different swatches vary.  I decided to jump on this while the Saks Beauty and Fragrance Week is still going on so that I could get another tote bag.  I ordered from the Saks in San Fran again :-)

YSL couture palettes + GWP from Saks

Saks Fifth Avenue is having its bi-annual beauty event and as usual, I was mystified by the beautiful tote bags.  I decided to purchase a few items.  I decided on the white tote bag after much indecision because the creamy off-white main colour looks very chic.  I ordered these from the Saks store in windy San Francisco!  They sent a YSL gift with purchase too, which is a makeup bag, and you know that I collect makeup bags!

YSL now has couture palettes for eye shadow and they look amazing.  I had been doing some research into eye shadows for my Mac palette, and I had been interested in Mac's Brun.  It's a hat's off to my uni/grad school days.  My mum had a gift with purchase from Estee Lauder which included 2 eye shadows and one was dark brown.  It was my go-to for clubbing, social events, you name it.  It's what I was hoping for when I bought Mac's Espresso (which turned out to be more of a chocolatey brown which isn't really dark), and now here we have it in #4 Sahariennes!

I had also had my eye on Mac's Idol Eyes because I wanted a true dramatic silver colour and it looks like my dreams are fulfilled with #8 Avant Garde! I'm not into having more eye shadow palettes just for the sake of collecting, so I definitely do my research beforehand.
